-
Do I have to be a member to get involved?
Membership is not required to attend any Christian Life function; however, membership is required to vote at business meetings and may be required for certain leadership roles.
-
How do I become a member?
Anyone may apply for membership that wishes to do so. It is our desire to provide an application process that is inviting, while conveying the importance and significance of membership.
Applicants who have not been members at another Assembly of God church are required to take the membership class offered at Christian Life, and meet any other requirements.
Applicants who have been members of another Assembly of God church should request their former church send a written request for a transfer of membership to Christian Life Church. The request for transfer will then be reviewed. -
Why should I become a member?
Membership achieves two main benefits.
1. Membership allows you to vote on important church decisions during business meetings.
2. Membership allows you to express your commitment to Christian Life Church.
Practices

Am I required to give a donation or offering?
An "offering" is collected every Sunday in our morning worship service; giving is voluntary.
We will never intentionally say or do anything to manipulate, or guilt you into giving. We believe the Bible teaches that God rewards those that give with a willing heart.
We also believe the Bible teaches that giving 10% (a "tithe") of one's income to further the work of God in the local church is an expression of worship and dependance on God. "Tithing" should be the normal practice of those who have put their trust in Christ.
If you are a guest with us, all we ask is that you enjoy the service and open your heart to God. Should you choose to give we appreciate your gift, and trust the Lord will bless you. -
How long are your services?
Our morning worship service generally runs about 1.5 hours, which includes music and the message. Visit our About Us page to learn more about our services.
-
If I give a donation or offering is my gift tax deductable?
Yes. If you fill out an "offering envelope" that our ushers will distribute, your information will be kept confidential and used for mailing a contribution report to your home in December.
